Special characteristics:
Milky Oolong is an only slightly oxidised oolong without any flavouring. It is a special genus of tea plant. Already during infusion, the tea develops a wonderful fragrance with a distinctive aroma, with a typical milky or creamy, floral character.
The tea comes from one of the best producers for Milky Oolong, who also consistently focuses on sustainable, organic farming. The tea variety is also produced in southern China and Taiwan. However, the plants are cultivated in soil that is particularly rich in minerals. The growing conditions in the mountains of Maesalong are ideal for this variety. Tea plants from Taiwan were specially used for the plantation. Cultivation takes place at an altitude of 1500 metres.

100% handmade. We get this tea directly from small producers and tea farmers in China. The tea is grown and processed in a traditional way. Such high qualities are usually produced by the tea farmers only for the local Chinese market. Therefore we are regularly on site with the producers. The direct contact to the tea farmers enables us to offer very reasonable prices with outstanding tea quality. All our teas are checked for pesticide residues by an independent laboratory. We deliver the tea in re-sealable and aroma-safe stand-up pouches made of ALU/PE.
