Special characteristics:

Tian Mu Qing Ding (green tip of Tian Mu) is a famous green tea from Zhejiang, which is already visible when opening the package due to its intense, fruity and flowery smell. When infused, it is rather mild and its fruity parts, slightly reminiscent of mango or papaya, are nicely expressed. Tian Mu Qing Ding is a very old variety, which at the time of the Qing Dynasty had a similar position to a Xihu Long Jing. It is cultivated near the Tian Mu mountain (an area that has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 1996). It is only picked in the morning, on sunny days, after the dew on the leaves has disappeared. As with any green tea, the quality depends largely on the time of harvest. The young leaves of this crop are harvested from the beginning to the middle of April, depending on the weather.

Production and packaging:

Packaging sizes

100% handmade. We get this tea directly from small producers and tea farmers in China. The tea is grown and processed in a traditional way. Such high qualities are usually produced by the tea farmers only for the local Chinese market. Therefore we are regularly on site with the producers. The direct contact to the tea farmers enables us to offer very reasonable prices with outstanding tea quality. All our teas are checked for pesticide residues by an independent laboratory. We deliver the tea in re-sealable and aroma-safe stand-up pouches made of ALU/PE.
