Simple infusion (recommended):
Place one ball (6-7 g) in a glass jar and pour in one litre of boiling water.
The ball needs about 10 minutes to infuse. Then give the tea a little more time and pour out the first infusion.
The fully preserved tea leaves remain in the glass pot and are not separated. Pour in another litre of water for the second infusion. This time with a brewing time of approx. 20 minutes.
The tea is very productive. Its simple preparation and great flavour quickly make it a constant companion.
Chinese preparation:
Place one ball (6-7g) in a vessel (e.g. a Yixing teapot) and pour approx. 400 ml of boiling water over it.
To water, let the first infusion steep for approx. 4 minutes.
The tea can then be infused repeatedly at approx. 85 degrees while the ball increasingly unfolds.
Mid April 2024 (spring harvest).

plants in the higher regions also leads to a better aroma of the tea leaves. The monks harvest the tea from wild growing tea bushes that are 20 years old and older. The leaves of these tea bushes do not grow at a uniform height or density as on conventional plantations. However, they have a stronger and better aroma. The method of production in spherical form is a well-known procedure in the area. Outside of China, this form of tea is occasionally found under the name White Pearls (Chinese: Bai Zhu or ??)Production and packaging:
