Depending on how strong you drink the tea, there are two options:
Single infusion:
For a stronger version, take one scoop (8g) for an infusion with one litre of water at 100 degrees. The tea can be drunk slowly after about 15 minutes infusion time. The tea leaves always remain in the glass pot and are not separated.
Double infusion:
For a lighter version, infuse one scoop with one litre of boiling water in a glass container for about 10 minutes until the outer leaves have dissolved. The first round can now be poured out slowly. Then add another litre of boiling water and leave to infuse for 20 minutes or longer.
Chinese preparation:
Place one ball (8g) in a container (e.g. a Yixing teapot) and pour approx. 400ml of boiling water over it.
Allow the first infusion to steep for approx. 4 minutes.
The tea can then be infused repeatedly at approx. 100 degrees while the ball gradually unfolds.
Mid-April 2024 (spring harvest).

Special characteristics:
Tea garden of Jingdong Bai Zhu at 2500 metres
Due to the hot and tropical climate, the production of tea in Yunnan is very difficult without the use of pesticides. Sustainable production is only possible at a sufficient altitude. The climate at this altitude naturally prevents pests from spreading. Soil contamination through the use of pesticides is also a major problem when switching to sustainable cultivation methods, especially if conventional tea cultivation has already been practised there. As this old tea garden has not been cultivated for decades, the soil is also free of any contamination. Only in this combination can the best teas be produced in a sustainable way.
Production and packaging:

100% handmade. We get this tea directly from small producers and tea farmers in China. The tea is grown and processed in a traditional way. Such high qualities are usually produced by the tea farmers only for the local Chinese market. Therefore we are regularly on site with the producers. The direct contact to the tea farmers enables us to offer very reasonable prices with outstanding tea quality. All our teas are checked for pesticide residues by an independent laboratory. We deliver the tea in re-sealable and aroma-safe stand-up pouches made of ALU/PE.
