The tea is grown in an old tea garden in the region of origin of Pi Lo Chun (also known as Bi Luo Chun) on Dongting Shan Island near Suzhou. The Wen family operates a small tea factory there, producing handcrafted teas of the highest quality. Another distinctive feature is the complete absence of pesticides, chemical fertilizers, and herbicides.
